A clock on my roof, it boldly declares,
Time for all, but not for my affairs.
Like Midas, I shine for others, it's true,
Gold for them, while I'm left feeling blue.
So I thought, "Inside for me, it must reside,"
Moved the clock in, with joy, my heart sighed.
Now I revel in each melodious chime,
Time's captive no more, in rhythm, I climb
